Questions about Crop Margins

Is the cropped content deleted?
No. Cropping changes the visible page box, so the trimmed area is hidden rather than removed. If you need content genuinely gone, use Redact Text.
What does auto-detect actually measure?
It finds the bounding box of everything drawn on the page — text, images and vector graphics — then crops to that box plus the padding you specify.
Why are my pages now different sizes?
Auto mode crops each page to its own content, so pages with less on them end up smaller. Use manual margins if you need every page to keep identical dimensions.
