Questions about Extract Images

How is this different from PDF to Images?
PDF to Images renders whole pages as new pictures. Extract Images pulls out the original embedded files at their stored quality, without re-encoding them.
Why did I get fewer images than I expected?
Vector graphics and text are not embedded images, so they cannot be extracted this way. A minimum size filter or duplicate removal may also be excluding some. Use PDF to Images to capture everything a page displays.
Why are some images tiny?
Backgrounds, rules and icons are stored as images too. Set a minimum width and height to filter them out.
