Questions about Search Text

Does the highlighted copy change the document?
It adds highlight annotations over the matches. The text itself is untouched, and the original upload is never modified.
Can it search scanned pages?
No. Searching needs real text. A scan is an image of text, so there is nothing to match until it has been through OCR.
What should I do with the results?
If you are looking for text to remove, Redact Text deletes it permanently. If you want to change it, use Replace Text.
