Questions about Watermark
Can a watermark be removed by the recipient?
A watermark is drawn into the page content, so it is not a simple toggle — but it is not a security control either. For genuine restrictions use Encrypt PDF or Permissions.
What image formats can I use?
PNG and JPEG. A PNG with transparency generally sits better over text than a rectangular JPEG.
Why is my watermark hard to read?
Opacity defaults deliberately low so the page stays legible. Raise the opacity, increase the font size, or pick a darker colour if you want it more prominent.
